Dr. Bethany Barratt was born in Lebanon, raised in the United States, and educated in the US and Britain. Her research includes humannbsp;rights, foreign aid, and US and British foreign policy. Her most recent book isHuman Rights and Foreign Aid: For Love or Money?(2007, Routledge).nbsp; Dr. Barratt is currently an Assistant Professor of Political Science at Roosevelt University in Chicago, and has also been an instructor at the University of California, Davis, and San Quentin State Prison. When she is not teaching at Roosevelt,nbsp;she can be found in London conducting research, leading short-term study abroad courses, and peering under the seats in Kings’ Cross Station.
