From personal anguish and confusion to cross-examination in a court of law, Charles de Kerckhove has experienced first-hand the process by which a church covers up allegations of sexual abuse at a victim's expense. As a child advocate he is grateful for widespread support received for public initiatives aimed at addressing this issue, such as improvement of child self-esteem and strengthening of communication channels.
