She is Associate Professor of writing and rhetoric at Syracuse University, where she teaches courses in composition pedagogy, authorship theory, writing program administration, composition history, and stylistics. She is the author of Standing in the Shadow of Giants: Plagiarists, Authors, Collaborators.
