Valentine’s Day – What Are Your Plans?

Love it or hate it, Valentine’s Day is right around the corner. Even if you can splurge a little, or are on a tight budget, make the most of your day with your significant other, or your friends!

Whether your single, taken, or somewhere in between, we’ve got some great tips for you to have an excellent Valentine’s Day!

1. Plan a Galentine’s Party!
A la, Leslie Knope, celebrate being single with your girlfriends! There’s no better excuse for a girl’s night out. Hit up a great restaurant and try something new, like fondue or tapas. Not only will you have a great time, but you’ll create lasting memories. As they say “sisters before misters!” Check out our Pinterest board for some great outfit ideas.

2. Plan a Romantic Night In
What’s a better way to show someone you care than to make them a nice meal? In between packaged meals and dorm food, your meals may becoming a little boring. Try out a new recipe together, but don’t become overwhelmed by making everything yourself. Check out a local bakery to pick up dessert, and just take care of the main course yourself! 3. Long Distance? No problem!
It’s tough being away from the one you love, especially on Valentine’s day. Aside from face-timing, show your affection by sending them something special. Receiving a hand-written card can mean so much more than how you may usually communicate. If you’ve got the moola, splurge on a unique gift to send, from cookies, to flowers, to chocolate. We’re loving this cute, long-distance card.

From all of us at TextbookRush.com, we wish you a Happy Valentine’s Day!
