Kirk J. Schneider, Ph.D., is a licensed psychologist and leading spokesperson for contemporary humanistic psychology. He is an adjunct faculty member at Saybrook Graduate School and the California Institute of Integral Studies and is a Fellow of the American Psychological Association. Dr. Schneider is current president of the Existential-Humanistic Institute of San Francisco (a training institute in Existential-Humanistic psychotherapy), and this year’s recipient of the “Rollo May award for outstanding and independent pursuit of new frontiers in humanistic psychology” conferred by the Humanistic Psychology Division of the American Psychological Association.
