Stephen Scanniello is a popular author, lecturer, and landscape design consultant. He has written four books on roses- Roses of America, Climbing Roses,Rose Companions and A Year of Roses . The latter received the American Horticultural Society's Annual Book Award in 1998. Scanniello is credited with transforming Brooklyn Botanic Garden's Cranford Rose Garden into an internationally acclaimed rose garden. He is known for combining the technical expertise of a knowledgeable rosarian with an approachable style that communicates to even the most novice gardener.Pegi Ballister-Howells is the host of a call-in radio program, "The Garden Show," on WCTC-AM 1450 in New Brunswick. She also has her… own 30-minute cable show on EBTV called "At Home With Pegi" and has worked with the New Jersey Farm Bureau, New Jersey Nursery and Landscape Association, Rutgers University Cooperative Extension, and the Vegetable Growers Association of New Jersey. Author of numerous gardening articles she currently writes the newsletter for the Vegetable Growers Association of New Jersey. She, her family and assorted pets, live on a ten-acre farm, Blooming Acres, where they do extensive ornamental and vegetable gardening.
