Description:

A new YA novel, from the American Bar Association, that shows young adults ways to learn that lawyers help people, and that legal precedents come from real situations involving real people trying to resolve real problems. A troubled young man is befriended by a clever older lawyer with a magical law library--and through the use of a leaphole, the two are transported from the present directly into exciting incidents that eventually are memorialized in Supreme Court decisions (for example, they are thrust into 1850's Missouri just in time to see Dred Scott led past in chains, on his way back to the slave owner).
