Most marriages begin with a sense of wonder and promise. Shouldn't they continue that way? Shouldn't love last? A thousand times, yes! Only the key to finding love that lasts begins not with knowing one another but with knowing God. Marriage is a profound and marvelous mystery established by God for his glory--and that is for our good. So many marital relationships never reach their greatest potential because they have the fatal limitation of being focused on one another. When our focus is solely on God, our marriages have the potential to thrive and not merely survive. This valuable book--written for married or engaged couples, or those in anticipation of marriage--is a biblical exposition of how to make the truth and principles of a godly marriage not just come alive, but last. Together, husband and wife discuss what the Bible has to say about marital roles, the why and how of communication, conflict resolution, romance, intimacy, and more.

Golden Bleu was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. Throughout her life, particularly as an undergraduate at Miami University, she has had a passion for literature. Her favorite genres include African American folklore and Black feminism. For several years, Bleu worked in the Social Work field before relocating to Germany, to work for the military. She became inspired to write after reading the explanations and anecdotal observations of the world, as seen through the eyes of literary great, Jean Toomer, in Essentials. She now lives outside of Washington, DC with her family and believes in daydreams and miracles.
