Madelyn E. Halbert, was raised in a small town on the seacoast of Maine, and attended school in Brooks, Maine. Married a sailor and after ten years of service, we moved to Iowa, she then went to Nursing School, and worked as a nurse. We raised five children, when it was time for retirement we started to travel and she started writing. Previously she published a book," Secrets from the Past." Now she lives in Wimauma, Florida. She now reads by phone to her grand-children and they read to her. At this time, she has fourteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
