Claire Morris-Dobie has been writing since she was six years old when she typed a one-penny newsletter on her great aunt's typewriter and distributed it to her first grade classmates in Philadelphia. A graduate of Temple University, she became a TV news anchor and reporter for the ABC affiliate in Philadelphia and continued her TV career in Sacramento and San Francisco. She later served as a public relations professional for several corporations in San Francisco and Hawaii. She has interviewed politicians and celebrities including George H W Bush, Ronald Reagan, Senator Ted Kennedy, Carl Sagan, Frank Capra, Gil Scott-Heron, The Spinners and Muhammad Ali.
