The story I share in Uniquely Red Secretly Blue originated in a series of daydreams that had persisted over several years, leading me to the point where I felt I just had to write them down. I found myself entering much of the detail on the computer without even needing to tell my brain what words to use, simply wondering what would happen next! I am retired, but throughout my career I was a successful teacher, trainer & computer consultant. I wrote extensively in my professional pursuits, although never a novel. Some of the details of my own life are reflected in those of my novel's main character, Rupert Browne, including a history of recurring medical appointments, an active involvement… in badminton, and a commitment to faith and church. However, this is a work of fiction, and while some events may resemble those of actual persons, living or dead, this is purely coincidental. Characters, places and events are either imaginary or are used entirely fictitiously.
