Sohaila zivari received her degree in Persian literature and Iranian history from the university of Tehran. Born and raised in Tehran, she grew up in a family that always cherished Iran heritage, particularly when it came to its poets. In December of 1979, she immigrated to Los Angeles, California with her husband, where they raised three now-grown children and still currently reside.
