Tony Lalicata taught social sciences for 36 years in New York, Maine and Massachusetts. He coached basketball and baseball for over 30 years at the high school level and is currently coaching baseball at North Shore Tech in Middleton, Massachusetts. He was awarded the "Celtic's Hero Among Us Award" in 2002 for his work and fight against cancer. He also won the National Kidney Foundation Extraordinary Effort Award for fundraising in 1996. Tony is the author of "Tony's Gift," a book about his battle with cancer. He is married to his wife of 43 years, Anita; has one son, Anthony, Jr., a daughter-in-law, Jenepher and, Of course, his grandson, "Enzo."
