Adolf Kofi Awua was born in Accra, Ghana. He received his BSc. Honors degree in Biochemistry in 2001 from the University of Ghana, Legon. He spent four years as a Research and Teaching Assistant at the Biochemistry Department, University of Ghana, where he was involved with the study of microbial biodiversity using molecular techniques. He earned his M.Phil. in Biochemistry from the University of Ghana, Legon in 2008. During this period, he studied the prevalence Human Papillomavirus in cervical cancers using molecular genotyping techniques and also served as a Laboratory Demonstrator to the final year Molecular Biology practical course for two academic years.He joined the Cellular and… Clinical Research Centre, Radiological and Medical Sciences Research Institute (GAEC), Ghana in 2008 and is currently a Research Scientist. He stands with a rich experience in the laboratory and a good working understanding of student difficulties with solution preparation, as he has assisted with a good number of undergraduate dissertations during his working period at the University of Ghana, Legon.
