Born and raised in West Palm Beach, Lisa Skye moved to New York City in 1998 to study broadcast journalism at New York University. After graduation, she went on to work in some of the cityrsquo;s most reputable restaurants, including Union Square CafEacute;, Blue Hill and The Odeon.nbsp;nbsp;Lisa put her degree to use working in television as an anchor, producer and editor for PBS. Combining her passion for food and entertainment, her favorite TV project was field producing for the Discovery Channelrsquo;s premier food shownbsp;Go Ahead, Make My Dinner.In between exploring her culinary passions, Lisa has worked as a residential mortgage broker and helped launchnbsp;We Work Labs, NYCrsquo;s… premier office space community. More recently, she took a role as a commercial real estate broker and she is also a real estate investor.nbsp;A natural at connecting people and fostering community, Lisa leads weekly networking meetings as a president and director for an organization called Business Network International, which produces business for creative entrepreneurs and other professionals. Lisa lives in Brooklyn with her husband, Anthony, and plans to retire somewhere near a beach.
