Patrick J. Cihon is an Associate Professor of Law & Public Policy at Syracuse University School of Management. His research interests are in the areas of employment law, employment discrimination, labor relations, and dispute resolution, and he has authored or co-authored a number of books and articles in those fields. He received a B.A. from Pennsylvania State University, an LL.B. from Osgoode Hall Law School of York University in Toronto, and an LL.M. from Yale Law School. Prior to joining the Syracuse University faculty, he was with the Ontario Ministry of Labour. He has received the Outstanding Faculty Member award from the Syracuse University Association of Graduate Business Students,… and from the Syracuse Chapter of Beta Gamma Sigma, the undergraduate honor society.
James Ottavio Castagnera is the Associate Provost and Associate Counsel at Rider University in Lawrenceville and Princeton (NJ), where he oversees international and honors programs, regulatory matters, labor relations with the faculty union, and other legal affairs in the Academic Affairs Division. He is also president of K&C Human Resource Enterprises, a freelance writing and editing organization. In addition to EMPLOYMENT AND LABOR LAW, Dr. Castagnera has published 16 other books, including AL QAEDA GOES TO COLLEGE: IMPACT OF THE WAR ON TERROR ON AMERICAN HIGHER EDUCATION (Praeger, 2009) and NED MCADOO AND THE MOLLY MAGUIRES, a self-published novel of 19th and 21st century domestic… terrorism. He holds a J.D. and Ph.D. from Case Western Reserve University and has been a member of the Pennsylvania Bar for twenty-eight years.
