Levy Korekh (Leonid Pereplyotchik) was born at October 28 1937 in Ukraine. He obtained M.S. in Kiev Politechnical Institute 1966, and then got PhD in Novosibirsk, Siberia at 1973. Worked as an engineer, then professor for the Novosibirsk Technical University conducted various researches in the Computer Science. He immigrated to USA in 1989.He began to write stories, when he was 19. First book, published in USA "On both sides of the Bering Strait". The book "River of oblivion" consists of novels, devoted to destinies of emigrants, essays about "The Lost generation" as well as memoirs about childhood, young years of author.
