The author was born and raised in Lynn, Massachusetts. Mr St. Cyr received a B.S. in General Studies (Psychology) from Salem State College in 1980 and Certificates in Mediation and Conflict Management from the University of Southern Maine. In his career as a Micro-Electronic Process and Concurrent Engineer, he acted as the technical bridge between Manufacturing, Engineering Design and Research Organizations. Mr. St. Cyr has authored a number of technical publications and holds a patent for an electronic device that he fabricated and that was placed into earth orbit by the spacecraft Columbia.
