Annie Auerbach attended UCLA where she earned her B.A. Degree. She has a background in theater and film snd also a career in publishing. This lead her to her next challenge - cartoon characters. She created several cartoon characters such as Sponge Bob Square Pants, The Incredibles, Bob the Builder and Despicable Me. She has become an illustrator, author and adaptor for these characters. She has authored over 100 books for children including N.Y. Times bset seller Bob's Egg Hunt. Some of her other titles include Eight Chanukah Lights and Cindy Big Hair. She also has a chapter book series entitled The Grosse Adventures.

David Shannon was born October 5, 1960, Washington, D.C. He is an American author and illustrator. He graduated from the Art Center College of Design and now lives in Los Angeles. In 1998 he won the Caldecott Honor for his No, David!. He also wrote A Bad Case of Stripes, How Georgie Radbourn Saved Baseball, and The Amazing Christmas Extravaganza. He has also illustrated Audrey Wood's The Bunyans, various books by Jane Yolen including The Ballad of the Pirate Queens and Encounter, as well as Melinda Long's How I Became a Pirate and Pirates Don't Change Diapers. Shannon currently lives in Los Angeles with his wife and daughter.

Loren Long is a New York Times best-selling illustrator. Loren has illustrated Watty Piper's The Little Engine That Could and Madonna's Mr. Peabody's Apples.
