Diane Sweeney has been a national consultant in the areas of literacy and coaching since 1999. She is the Founder and Lead Consultant for the educational consulting firm Spark Innovation. Her work focuses on the methods, practices, and structures for building rigorous learning communities in schools. The author of Learning Along The Way: Professional Development by and for Teachers (Stenhouse, 2003), Diane holds a longstanding interest in how students learn best as well has how adult learning translates to learning in the classroom.
