Gerald Harding Gunn or Jerry as he prefers to be called, has a lifelong interest in America's greatest and most tragic struggle, the Civil War. He has directed this interest toward stories influenced by that struggle. Jerry is a career broadcast and website journalist who developed a love for the Civil War era when he… was a young boy. He has participated in living histories and reenactments, on and off, since the age of 15. Jerry blends the past with the present in his first novel, "A Rose for William Carter", and again with Lois Helmers in "The Ghosts of Kennesaw Mountain". Jerry is a native Georgian, born and raised in Atlanta. He grew up there, surrounded by reminders of the Civil War in this city of "Gone with the Wind."
