Regina Phelps is an internationally recognized expert in the field of emergency management and continuity planning. Since 1982, she has provided consultation and educational speaking services to clients in four continents. She is founder of Emergency Management & Safety Solutions, a consulting company specializing in emergency exercise design, incident management team development and continuity planning. She designs between 100 and 150 exercises per year. A partial list of clients include International Paper, Northern Trust, VISA, Triton Container, Stanford University, Caltech Institute, Monterey Bay Aquarium, the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund and the International Finance… Corporation. Regina has received numerous honors and awards including the IAEM U.S. and Global Award for Public Awareness; the Business Recovery Managers Association Award for Excellence in Business Recovery Planning; College of the Sequoias' Hall of Fame; Outstanding Employer by the ARC; and Women Entrepreneur of the Year, San Francisco Chamber of Commerce. Ms. Phelps is a faculty member of Norwich University and a frequent speaker at emergency management conferences.
