Sheila Dinaburg-Azoff PsyD is a parenting coach and holds a doctorate in pediatric/school psychology from Yeshiva University, Ferkauf School of Psychology. For more than two decades, she has worked in hospitals, schools, and clinics running parenting groups, counseling parents and children, and conducting evaluations of children. She has made numerous presentations to parents and professionals on such topics as Therapy with Children, Children and Mourning, Child Development, Self-Esteem, and Parenting Preschoolers. In her view, parents are the experts regarding their children. She has found that through focused discussion, parents can draw upon their insights to expand their understanding… of their child. As the mother of two daughters, ages 20 and 24, she continues the learning adventure of being a parent.
