She is an internationally recognized educational consultant, having presented more than six hundred lectures and workshops in thirty countries over the past seventeen years. She was selected as a guest educator with the AHP-Soviet Project in 1988, has been recognized by Who�s Who in American Education, and has received awards from the University of Hawaii and the American Association for the Advancement of Science for outstanding teaching in science. She has contributed over one hundred articles to educational and science journals and magazines and been featured in scores of radio and TV interviews in the U.S. and abroad. She lives with her musician husband Ahti Mohala in Hawaii and Montana.
