Lars Gustafsson has earned a sizable reputation in Europe as a critic and an author. He has published numerous books, including novels, poetry collections, dramas, philosophical works, and critical studies. His works have been translated into English, German, Hebrew, and other languages. He taught for many years at the University of Texas at Austin and now lives in Sweden.
