RUSTUM KOZAIN was born and schooled in Paarl, and further educated at the University of Cape Town. During the mid-1990s, he spent a year in the USA on a Fulbright scholarship. He then taught for several years in the Department of English at UCT, offering classes in literary studies, film studies and creative writing. His poetry has appeared in journals her and abroad. He now lives in Capte Town, working as a freelance editor.
