Hugh Hewitt is an author, educator, broadcaster, and attorney who graduated from Harvard University and the University of Michigan Law School. Hewitt has served as counsel in the White House and for the state of California. He is a partner in the law firm Hewitt & McGuire and a professor at Chapman University School of Law. He was also appointed to a four-year term on the California Arts Council. Hewitt is a frequent contributor to the Los Angeles Times and the Orange County Register. He appears as a commentator on such TV shows as Nightline, the Today Show, and Larry King Live. He hosted the PBS series Searching for God, modeled after his book by the same name.
