Timothy Ryan is an Oklahoma-based freelance writer and photographer who has hiked and chased birds in more than ninety countries on six continents. He first fell in love with hiking while working in Rocky Mountain National Park as a camp counselor for Cheley Colorado Camps and later spent thirteen years hiking all over northern New Mexico while living in the foothills of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains.
