Janet Bregman-Taney came to know (and eventually move to) the Poconos through her involvement in the Stroudsburg Arts Center's artist-in-residence program. The former consumer columnist for Philadelphia's City Paper, she currently edits Dignity, a monthly magazine for people fifty and older. Kenneth Clark served as a writer and reporter for UPI and the Chicago Tribune before retiring in 1995. He now writes travel columns for Dignity magazine and travels the nation in a motor home with his wife, Dorothy, and their bodyguard, Cassie the chow chow.
