Paolo Gerbaudo is a cultural researcher, a journalist and an activist interested in social movements and social change. He has been an Associate Lecturer at the Media department of Middlesex University and is currently an Adjunct Professor at the Sociology department of the American University in Cairo (AUC). He is also an experienced freelance journalist, writing for Soundings and Culture Machine and acting as the UK correspondent of Italian daily newspaper il manifesto.
