Allison Kenny is an actor, writer, teacher, business owner and messy art maker. She invented Go Girls! Camp and believes that girls doing theater can change the world. Allison lives in Oakland, CA with her partner, Lynn and their two puppies, Roxie and Rufus. "Starring Celia" is her first book.
Thorina Rose thought better of office life and became a freelance illustrator. Her whimsical drawings have appeared in numerous publications, including "Salon", "Outside", "Mother Jones", and "The Industry Standard". She also worked on "Backyard Bouquets" for Chronicle Books.
