Dr. Jane Chapman is Reader in Journalism in the School of Journalism, Lincoln University (UK). A former television producer and news reporter with over 200 factual programmes and documentaries to her credit, she is also a qualified historian with a first degree from University College, London; a post graduate certificate in education from Cambridge University (Wolfson College) and a doctorate from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), department of International History. Her book #60;i#62;Comparative Media History#60;/i#62; (2005) was a nominee for best book of the year award by the Association of Educators of Journalism and Media Communication (AEJMC).
