The author, Dr. Ron Davis, is a communication arts professor at Saint Vincent College in Latrobe, PA. He teaches film studies, television production, and public speaking. He graduated from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania and earned his doctoral degree from Auburn University. In addition to teaching, he is an artist, photographer, television and film producer, and curriculum developer. He is a Vie Nam veteran. 1963 is his first novel.
