Interested in various aspects of science from the time she was a child, author J. C. Greenburg transitioned that interest into a successful writing career. She began her career researching facts for other people's books before she turned to writing her own. She is widely known as the author of the Andrew Lost series which are based around science and named after nephew Andrew. She is married to author Dan Greenburg, whose popular Zack files are named after his and J. C.'s son.
