Jim Perry is a Professor of Management Information Systems at the University of San Diego, School of Business. He is the author of over sixty-five textbooks and trade books. He holds a Ph.D. in computer science from the Pennsylvania State University and a B.S. in mathematics from Purdue University.

Gary Schneider is a Professor of Accounting and Information Systems at Quinnipiac University. The author or co-author of 31 books on accounting, electronic commerce, and information topics. Gary has PhD in accounting systems from the University of Tennessee, and MBA in accounting from Xavier University.

Richard Newmark received his B.S.B.A. (finance, 1984) from University of Florida, and his M.S. (taxation, 1986) and Ph.D. (accounting, 1996) from University of Miami. He taught at Southeastern Louisiana University and Old Dominion University prior to arriving at University of Northern Colorado's Monfort College of Business in 2001. Newmark was promoted to associate professor of accounting in 2004 and to full professor in 2009. Newmark is actively involved in the accounting community, holding memberships in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Information Systems Audit and Control Association.
