Anne Louise Heritage was born in Somerset, England, and grew up on a council estate surrounded by the dogs who became her childhood friends. A vegan animal rights advocate with 32 years experience in caring for rescue dogs, Anne has been an Activities Co-ordinator, organising care plans for autistic adults, and a Counsellor specialising in addiction. She read philosophy at university, has a masters degree in film studies, and is a lifetime activist in womens' rights, animal rights, and community issues. Still living in Somerset, she is now a writer and filmmaker, highlighting environmental concerns, both in Somerset and beyond.
