Lane Relyea is Associate Professor and Chair of Art Theory and Practice at Northwestern University and the Editor-in-Chief of Art Journal. His essays and reviews have appeared in such journals as Artforum, Parkett, Frieze, Art in America, and Flash Art.James MacKillop is Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Georgia, where he is also Associate Director of the William and Barbara Owens Institute for Behavioral Research, and Adjunct Associate Professor in the Department of Behavioral and Social Sciences at Brown University.
