For NANCY KRULIK, middle school was just a long series of mess-ups and mishaps waiting to happen. As an adult, she has written more than 150 books for children and young adults, including three New York Times bestsellers and the popular Katie Kazoo Switcheroo series. Nancy lives in Manhattan with her husband, composer Daniel Burwasser; their two children, Ian and Amanda; and a crazy cocker spaniel named Pepper.
