D. M . J O R D O N was born in Washington, D. C. and spent his early yearsin his father's hometown of Roanoke, Virginia. In 1959, his family migrated northto The Bronx in New York City. He attended Dewitt Clinton High School in theBronx. In 1973, he enlisted in the Army. After a short stint he received a GeneralDischarge Under Honorable Conditions and returned to New York. Shortly after,he relocated to Staten Island where he attended Staten Island Community Collegeunder the GI bill. DM is a married father of four and has spent the last thirty-threeyears working and caring for people with Developmental Disabilities.
