Ofelia Loref de Mola was born and raised in Yucatan, Mexico. In 1995, she moved to NY thanks to a scholarship from FONCA. She holds a BFA in Dance Performance and an MFA in Choreography from the Conservatory of Dance at Purchase College State University of New York where she studied with Kazuko Hirabayashi.
