L.M. Howard hails from Michigan, and is an avid writer and reader. She received her Master's Degree from the University of Michigan, and works in mental health. For the last ten years, L.M. has worked with children, teens, couples, and families. Her passion for writing comes second only to her passion for helping others. L.M. has been writing for most of her life. She wrote short stories as a child, poetry and ballads as a teen, and made up stories of flight and fantasy for her own children as a young mother. She also encourages the use of writing and poetry in her practice. L.M. has been published previously in book reviews, has performed in spoken word events and poetry slams, and is a… blossoming blogger. In addition to writing, she enjoys reading, cooking, and learning about different cultures. Her varied interests and experiences are reflected in her writing.
