Jonathan Knight is Research Fellow of the Katie Wheeler Trust and Visiting Fellow in New Testament and Christian Ministry at York St John University. nbsp; Previous appointments include Lecturer and Research Fellow in Biblical Studies at Sheffield University, Chaplain and Research Assistant to Stephen Sykes and Chaplain of Worcester College, Oxford. Charlie Sheen was born in New York City on September 3, 1965. His birth name is Carlos Irwin Estevez; he is the son of actor Martin Sheen. In 1974 he picked up the stage name of Charlie Sheen when he made his debut in a film called The Execution of Private Slovik which starred his father. Sheen later starred in two films directed by Oliver Stone, Platoon in 1986 and Wall Street in 1987 (with his father, Martin Sheen, playing the role of the character's father). In 1994 he was awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, on Hollywood Boulevard. In 2002 Sheen won a Golden Globe Award for Best Actor in a Television series for Spin City.
