Charles Sutherland is a retired professional military officer and B-52 command pilot with leadership experience in operational combat situations, technical analytic skills, interagency negotiations and military staff experience. After his active duty military service, he managed United States Strategic Command’s Air and Space Operations Center (AOC) training program as a contractor before being chosen to serve as a multi-directorate, supervising Principal Analyst working key issues and critical documentation to support bomber (B-2/B-52) requirements, providing expertise for all current and future Air Force Global Strike Command (AFGSC) nuclear/strategic bomber force applications… operations for leadership and continuity, which bolstered the Air Force's nuclear enterprise. Due to defense budgetary limitations, his contract was terminated in 2011, which provided him the time to finish The Dragoneers, a novel he had been crafting since 2006 and which he had entered into multiple contests beginning in 2007. He plans to write many more books. The next several will continue as additional volumes of the Chronicles of Susah.
