Stephen Winston has been a Santa Ana Police Officer for over 29 years, working patrol, foot patrol, task force, and 11 years as a Motor Officer where he designed and presented a highly recognized bike safety program to over 30,000 students. Winston is an expert in the field of career services and has been a Background Investigator for 15 years, completing over 1,000 background investigations for law enforcement, fire, corrections, and civilian positions. He is highly regarded in his field and sought after to give presentations and speak at police academies and colleges throughout the United States. Winston is currently a member and has served on the executive board of the California Background Investigator?s Association.
Pete Bollinger first became interested in law enforcement while serving in the United States Air Force where he attained the rank of Sergeant. While in the military, he obtained AA Degrees in Industrial Security from the College of the Air Force and Criminal Justice from Devils Lake College in North Dakota. After an honorable discharge, Bollinger continued his education, obtaining a Bachelor of Science Degree in Public Administration from the University of La Verne and a Master?s Degree in Management from the University of Phoenix. Pete Bollinger has been a police officer with the Santa Ana Police Department since 1988 and has worked a variety of assignments throughout his career. First and foremost, he is proud that the majority of his work history was on patrol. He also served in an undercover capacity in narcotics and vice programs. Bollinger was fortunate enough to earn an assignment in Personnel, specifically in the Background Investigation Unit. He promoted to the rank of Sergeant, supervised the Felony Case Filing Unit and currently supervises patrol officers.
