Jayne Lyn Stahl has been publishing poetry since 1967. Her work has appeared in such notable magazines, and anthologies, as The New York Quarterly, City Lights Review, Exquisite Corpse, Beatitudes: 33, Pulpsmith, The Jacaranda Review, Stiffest of the Corpse (a City Lights publication), Oakland Out Loud (a publication of PEN Oakland), to name but a few, and been translated into Spanish, Italian, and French. Additionally, Ms. Stahl is a widely published essayist, Huffington Post blogger, as well as a playwright and screenwriter whose feature-length screenplay, "Shakespeare & Company," about the censorship battle to publish James Joyce's Ulysses, is currently in development.
