Jane DiVita Woody earned four academic degrees, engaged in part-time clinical practice as a certified sex therapist and marital/family therapist, and enjoyed a long career as Professor of Social Work at the University of Nebraska-Omaha. Retiring from professional life in 2014, she now pursues creative writing as her third career. Besides many professional publications, she has recently published short stories in The MacGuffin and Kestrel: A Journal of Literature and Art.
