Dan Gill , an author, professor and broadcaster, earned his M.S. in horticulture and worked as an LSU Agriculture Center/Extension Service horticulturist for more than 20 years.nbsp; In 2001, Gill accepted a new state position in Baton Rouge as Associate Professor of Consumer Horticulture and currently writes a weekly column for the Times-Picayune and a monthly column for Louisiana Gardener magazine.nbsp; In addition, Gill appears weekly on WWL-TV, hosts the Saturday morning WSMB Garden Show, and serves as spokesperson for the LSU Agricultural Center's "Get It Growing" project.
