Judy Larson's primary focus in each of her paintings is the animal, with the horse and Native American as recurring subjects. Her unique approach to her work is through the use of scratch board, an old, but little used technique that can render magnificent detail but one requiring infinite patience. Larson's unique approach to wildlife art has made her one of America's most collectible wildlife artists working today. Over 100 paintings have been published in limited edition. Judy Larson is passionate about her love of wildlife and supports a number of enviromental endeavors. She has worked with the National Wildlife Federation and is a member of teh Society of Animal Artists. She lives and works in California.
