Sylvia Meagher worked in the field of international public health, both as an administrator and as a writer of analytical reports, since 1947. She appeared on radio programs and panels and has lectured in various parts of the United States and Canada. Her writing on the Warren Report appeared in such publications as Esquire , The Minority of One , and Studies on the Left . Meagher died in New York City in 1989.
