Farrukh Dhondy is an Indian-born, former political activist & now writer of children books, plays & television series. He was a friend of C.L.R. James, who lived in his house for a time in London. Since 1984 Dhondy has worked as the Commissioning Editor for Multicultural Programmes at Channel Four (BBC).
